ACOUSTIC INSULATION

Sound absorbers

The sound-absorbing materials are characterized by the presence of open porous cells mainly applied “on sight”, they can have a flat, rusticated or pyramidal surface, or they are fibrous materials, capable of transforming sound energy into thermal energy thanks to the intrinsic absorption capacity.

Solutions

  • Polyurethane foam
  • Polyurethane agglomerate
  • Polyester fiber
  • Expanded melamine
  • Rock wool
  • Fiberglass

Soundproofing

The soundproofing materials are frequently coupled with lead sheets and plastic masses. The masses are always suspended or interposed with elastic suspensions, with the aim of improving insulation performance.

Solutions

  • Plastic masses
  • Bitumen
  • Lead
  • Coupled materials
  • High density elastomers
